I’ve been a Realtor since 1984 and I’m currently active at Moore & Associates in Torrance, CA. For the past 4 years I’ve been tracking how many new licensees quit before they even get started.

Up to 95% of all new licensees drop out within 3 months. Why do so many people go into real estate every year (The prediction is for 40,000 to 50,000 new licensees this year) and why is there such a huge dropout rate?

I think it’s because of:(1) The cheap startup cost (2) A misconception about how the business of selling real estate actually works. I’m sure you have your own idea of how you want it to work for you. I know I did. But after 20 years of experience, I’m here to give you a wake-up call to reality, the reality of you as a small businessperson. And it doesn’t get any smaller than one.



Your real estate license allows you to represent people when they buy and sell property. Your job is to build a one-person, service oriented business, from scratch, that will give you the unlimited income you want and allow you to set your own schedule. Real Estate will do that for you.
